We must look up to Jesus, for He is all we really need!

"I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
Psalm 121

Speaking of Christ..."For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;"
Colossians 1:19

"As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving."
Colossians 2:6&7

"For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;"
2 Corinthians 4:17

"It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes."
Psalm 119:71

In anguish of heart, my weary soul doth hope;
To be rooted deep "in Christ", what 'ere my trial be
In crushing grief I find, that nothing I possess
But hope that's found "in Christ", where all fullness richly dwells.
My hands cling to nothing; no expectations there be
But in God alone I hope, and trust fervently.
When the earth doth fall beneath me, and nothing there I see
Mine eyes look up to Jesus; who holds me what'ere be.

Knit Together...

"That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge."
Colossians 2:2,3

Knit together by the Master,
Our hearts are woven in love;
Each thread working together,
To hold the others in place.
And each and every strand,
Though small as it may be,
Holds tightly to the others,
That unbroken they may be.
